GALAR To Enter Studio This Week

March 10, 2009

Norwegian "viking" metal band GALAR has issued the following update:

"The recordings of [the new GALAR album] 'Til Alle Heimsens Endar' will start on the 13th of March in Conclave Media Studio (HELHEIM, TAAKE) and are expected to be done by the end of the month, if everything goes according to schedule.

"The album will be a natural continuation of our debut, 'Skogskvad' [2006], but more epic and massive! We will be joined by a string quartet for the recordings consisting of members from the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, among others.

"We have not signed a deal for the release, so if there are any interested labels out there please get in touch at [email protected]."

The "Til Alle Heimsens Endar" recording lineup will be as follows:

Slagmark: Grim vocals, guitars and bass
Fornjot: Clean vocals, bassoon, grand piano and keyboards
Phobos: Drums
Jorge Blutaar: Lyrics
